Das Fahrradrennen knüpft an die erfolgreiche Geschichte des Rennens aus den 70er und 80er Jahren an, bei dem sich die besten Radfahrer aus der Tschechoslowakei in Hlohovec trafen, um beim jährlich stattfindenden Freiheits-Wettkampf mit zu machen.
Ein Fest des Weines, des Federweißen und -roten (österr. „Sturm“, schweiz. „Sauser“), der Musik, des Tanzes und der Unterhaltung. Des Weiteren finden eine Kostüm-Show und Ritterspiele im Zentrum der Königsstadt Znaim (Znojmo) statt, sowie ein prachtvoller königlicher Umzug.
Das „Valtice-Radfahr-Event“ ist eine Veranstaltung für jedermann: sowohl für diejenigen, welche sich beim Radfahren entspannen möchten, als auch diejenigen, welche ihre Rennfahr-Ergebnisse verbessern möchten. Auch dem Genuss des traditionellen „burcak“, einem „Federweißen“, bzw. „-roten“ (österr. „Sturm“, schweiz. „Sauser“) steht in der wunderschönen Umgegend Valtices nichts im Wege.
Der Gurkenanbau in Znaim hat eine sehr lange Tradition. Das Gurkenfest bietet einen traditionellen Gurkenmarkt und ein spezielles gastronomisches Angebot, einen Wettkampf um die am besten eingelegte (Sauer-)Gurke und einen Wettkampf im „Gurken-Glas-Füllen“ auf Zeit. Ebenso befindet sich hier eine Ausstellung für Agrartechnik.
