A particular and traditional kind of music called “Cimbál” is played during the wine tasting event, which is regularly held on Easter Sunday at the local culture house (community centre).

The traditional consecration of wine on the feast of St. John, the Apostle, the Evangelist takes place on 27 December in honour of St. John, to whom a cup of poisoned wine was served. John blessed it and drank it, and the poison did not work. Therefore, on his feast day the wine drunk is traditionally holy wine. This tradition is also maintained in Hlohovec.
Der Gurkenanbau in Znaim hat eine sehr lange Tradition. Das Gurkenfest bietet einen traditionellen Gurkenmarkt und ein spezielles gastronomisches Angebot, einen Wettkampf um die am besten eingelegte (Sauer-)Gurke und einen Wettkampf im „Gurken-Glas-Füllen“ auf Zeit. Eine historische Prozession, Auftritte örtlicher Tanzgruppen und ein Handwerksmarkt finden im Schlosspark statt, sowie Konzerte von bekannten Musikern der tschechischen Musikszene im dortigen Amphitheater. Außerdem ein Weinmarkt am Schloss, die tschechische Meisterschaft im Erkennen von Weinaromen und vieles mehr.
Ein Fest des Weines, des Federweißen und -roten (österr. „Sturm“, schweiz. „Sauser“), der Musik, des Tanzes und der Unterhaltung. Des Weiteren finden eine Kostüm-Show und Ritterspiele im Zentrum der Königsstadt Znaim (Znojmo) statt, sowie ein prachtvoller königlicher Umzug.
