Das Gurkenfest bietet einen traditionellen Gurkenmarkt und ein spezielles gastronomisches Angebot, einen Wettkampf um die am besten eingelegte (Sauer-)Gurke und einen Wettkampf im „Gurken-Glas-Füllen“ auf Zeit. Ebenso befindet sich hier eine Ausstellung für Agrartechnik.
